This is part of a series of paintings (now in private collections) about people that I met over the course of a few years when I was younger. I was trying to encapsulate each person’s qualities using metaphorical imagery, they aren’t literal depictions. Chelsea (not her real name!) had seven eyes and still failed to see what was right in front of her.
