This is part of a series I did while living in California. It’s a cliché, but an awful lot of Californians really are bleach-blonde and hair extension-ed, orange-skinned from tanning beds, tautly sculpted by cosmetic surgery, and perfectly pearly-toothed from dental whitening. Everyone in L.A. really does have a screenplay, and everyone there really does want to be a star.
