california: detonate

This is a part of a series I did while living in California. Having both Hollywood and Silicon Valley in the state, self-importance and faddishness can reach ridiculous proportions. I used to joke that the state has silicon on both ends: technology in the north, and about 14,000,000 fake boobs in the south. In-between is a valley that no one talks about where all of the actual work gets done.
