These are completely natural images, no filter was used to get the prism effect. I had an actual prism, a globe that was the topper to an old-fashioned decanter. I used it as an extension of the lens on my iPhone camera, and suddenly everything looked like it was inside a kaleidoscope. I love real-world optical tricks like this, it’s amazing how many of our modern tools are based on those old principles.
