I got really into charcoal drawing for awhile once I really learned to do it well. I was also doing a lot of independent film related work at this particular time. This is a reflection of the kinds of characters I was working with in those projects, an original creation that had the flavor of the other things I was working on. I love the drawing and character, I used only regular charcoal sticks on newsprint.
